The current issue of the
Asian Reporter features Josephine Bridges' review of
Chinese Fables Remembered, a delightful book in the Asian Folktales Retold series. Bridges, who previously reviewed
China Tells How the World Began for the paper, finds that
Fables Remembered presents "a fine exercise for young readers," and that it reaches the series' "worthy goal" of capturing the spirit of Asian folktales and giving them new life.
